I'm also at a loss and I run the game on an SSD and have the horrid hitches etc, Originally posted by LyricalViking:Full PC Specs I thought about performing a DDU to see if maybe that could be the cause but I doubt it, When I install new drivers I always choose the option to delete the previous drivers therefor negating the effect of a cooked gpu. At least then I kept a constant 60fps locked. From what I've read the game has terrible CPU optimization across the board but I swear I got much better performance before Greymoor was released.
I've even turned the view distance down to 0. I've used all the performance tweaks I can think of, I've went into the usersettings file, I've disabled shadows all together along with grass and toned down all the settings to the absolute minimum (and tried the absolute maximum) and no matter what I do I always have hitches. Dips from 60fps (locked to 60 in nVidia control panel) 30fps. So far I've been having bad hitches and stutters (micro and major). HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM (Games Boot Drive) SSD: Samsung Evo 860 240GB (Windows Boot Drive)
